Hello Y'all, let me tell you about my artistic journey from my early childhood to the present in celebration of DA's 17th Birthday.
I have been drawing since the dawn my art since the little squiggles that sprung from the primordial stew of my young mind. I recall starting to mess around with my mind to give these primal squiggles some feature, like a head or eyes and other bits to make them more human like in stature. At the age of 12, I started to become more advanced with the drawing to full bodies, drawing a huge influence from the various cartoons I watch on television such as the works of Butch Hartman and the various flash animators on the internet from sites like Newgrounds. Another thing that added to my artistic ability are the various How-to draw books covering topics from cartooning to manga. My art classes in middle school were a hot bed for creativity for me with the help of my art teacher there (bless his soul).
In the high school years I have only attended art class in my senior year (only did the the Art 1 class since I had not attended prier to me not signing up for it in 9th grade). I have never really drawn anything after graduating from high school (Hence the "missing link" in the pic). At the start of my years in community collage, I have started my Deviant art account in the year of 2013 (I think I'm way too late on the DA boat). This is where I started to upload my artwork, but it was in a pretty erratic pace since I had a lot of classes (just basic general ed stuff).
Now in the present since I have transferred to a different Community College for its Graphic Design course, the closest they have to an art course. I have began my plunge into the ream of the digital which has added some medium diversity in to the Gallery of my DA. I am now in my second year of my Graphic Design course with an eye opening experience.
10 Years.
I didn't not realize I have been on DA for 10 years now. How does it feel to see the site your on go to pot. From the removal of categories, the bots and scammers, to the shitty search engine (and the removal of a search bar on faves)/tagging system. To me, I have grown dull to it, since I seldom load my stuff here (as stated in my bio) anymore these days, but I do post on other sites listed on my Carrd site (link's over in my bio). Some other sites I post at that is included on the Carrd site. >Twitter (Still calling it that. Because X sounds stupid). >Newgrounds >Bluesky* *As of now, Bluesky is invite only. If you already have an account there you can follow me there.
A late announcement of Swordtember
Forgot to post this (Since I'm not very active here nowadays), but I'm doing Swordtember over at my Twitter/X, You can come on in. There's going to be a bulk upload coming soon after this just like last year's Swordtember. In other news. I got myself a Bluesky account! Come follow he there.
Everyone Disliked That.
Oh boy, been forever since I did a big journal entry on this burning circus tent of a site. Pointing out the gorilla in the purple elephant costume in the room, DreamUp. Now I hate NFTs with the passion of 1000 suns, and just as much the amount of suns with AI art! This is probably the biggest fuck you to the userbase of DA since the Eclipse update, the removal of categories, and the purchase by Wix combined. It's spitting in the face to those who have massive bodies and long years of work of those long time 10+ year users. ain't nobody got the time to opt-out every drawing from being used in that travesty you call DreamUp. This is going to make you a much bigger laughing stock next to your reputation of revolting and vile fetish art. GG WP Deviantart. Thanks for attending my bootleg TEDx talk. Let me get off the soapbox for a moment and show you some the other sites I reside and load my artwork at over on my Carrd Page. One of them is this cool up and coming site, Inkblot (It's
